During winter, caring for your aging parent can be slippery business — especially if that parent lives alone.
Harsh winter weather can make it difficult to reach a loved one who relies on you to manage medications, stock the refrigerator, or provide transportation to doctor appointments. Then there’s the matter of your parent’s safety. The threat of power outages, icy sidewalks, and storm damage to your loved one’s home can lead to lots of extra work, worry, and expense.
Investigate Continuing Care
If these concerns sound familiar, it’s time to consider a better solution for your parent and your family. It’s time to investigate continuing care at Tallgrass Creek, a popular retirement community in Overland Park.
At Tallgrass Creek, seniors in need of assisted living or memory care thrive in a comfortable, private residence where expert caregivers use a holistic assessment to understand and tend to all their needs.
