“Keep Fighting” Against Breast Cancer

Local Pop Artist Donates 50% of “Keep Fighting” iTunes sales during October to Susan G. Komen

“Keep Fighting” Against Breast CancerKansas City pop artist Nate Evans has partnered with the Susan G. Komen Greater Kansas City organization and will be donating 50% of his album sales on iTunes through October 31st. His most recent single and music video “Keep Fighting” showcases the will to never give up no matter what the odds. Nate feels this concept pertains perfectly to women who have to “keep fighting” against breast cancer.

Helping People
and Changing the World

“My personal goal has always been to help people and change the world and I felt this would be a good place to start,” he said. “I chose breast cancer because 90 percent of the artists that have inspired me to make music are women. Knowing how serious this issue is, it would break my heart to see someone like my mother, sisters, or loved ones have to deal with this if it ever happened to them.”

In the music video for “Keep Fighting,” Nate teams up with Tiger Rock Martial Arts to demonstrate how hard work and self-discipline can help you reach any goal as well as staying healthy and fit.

“My Taekwondo instructor’s mother had actually fought breast cancer and won. After doing a lot of research, I found Susan G. Komen to be my first choice. After contacting them with my idea, they were more than excited to join.”

Inspiring Others Through His Music

Singer, songwriter, producer, director, Nate Evans has developed a sound that is true to his heart.  Coming from a dark place in life, he has been able to turn his life around and inspire others through his music. He pours immeasurable passion into every song he writes and performs and approaches the world as his own personal stage.

On his newest project, “Speakerbox,” Nate invites the listener to join him on a 20-song tour of Electronic, Pop, and Hip-Hop music. He shines on singles, “A Lovely Day” and “Keep Fighting,” which include music videos that have earned him over a million views on YouTube.

Fueled by a hunger to help people, Nate sees no limits. Self-made, self-built, whichever way you put it, he is here to stay and help change the world.

Michael A. Levine, a spokesman for Susan G. Komen Greater Kansas City, echoed Evans’ excitement about the partnership. {Quote by Andy Lyons from CentralMoNews}

“We are honored that a recording artist like Nate Evans would consider partnering with our organization,” Levine said. “Nate’s notoriety and audience have helped us expand the reach of our message to the masses. By mentioning us on YouTube and being featured so prominently on his social media platforms, we are able to reach another segment of listeners. Breast cancer education, awareness and advocacy are key to our success and having a performer like Nate aligned with Komen Kansas City is a true benefit for all of us.”
